Please label your violinist’s violin CASE with their name (I recommend using painters tape or something similar). Please write your violinist’s name in their book. Sometimes things get left behind and this helps me find the right owner.
We became composers yesterday! All the students wrote their own open string songs and performed them solo for the class in playing position. I am so proud of these violinists!
Each week I "shout out" one or more students in each class! This week I would like to shout out: EVERYONE! You were so brave to perform solo in front of me and your peers. You all wrote beautiful songs using G, D, A, E, rest, and repeats!
Violinists and families - this week it is so important that you begin the habit of practice for this year. Please take out your violin 4 times for practice between 11/5-11/9 for just 5-10 minutes every time. I want you practicing practice! This will make practicing much easier later in the year and is a great life skill!
