The Mitchell Bobcast

The official podcast of Mitchell Elementary in Chicago, IL.

Our group of student producers (ranging from Kindergarten up through 8th grade) work together to write, record, edit and produce an original podcast every week after school. It’s an audio school newsletter and also a playground for learning storytelling skills, audio production, and collaboration!

  • “I love that the clubs are mixed ages. Seeing the older middle-school kids develop a real friendship with my first-grader was so sweet to see.”

    Parent at Mitchell Elementary

  • “Both my kids absolutely LOVE going to Drumline/Podcast Club. It's a highlight of both their weeks, and they have made new friendships”

    - Parent At Waters Elementary

  • “We’ve been impressed with how quickly she’s picked up reading music, since she has struggled with focusing on tasks in the past!”
