Advanced Practice 9/23/26
WELCOME TO YOUR VERY FIRST PRACTICE BLOG!
Each week I "shout out" one or more students in each class! This week I would like to shout out: Sammie, you left side posture (heavy head playing position) is beautiful. I can tell the adjustments we worked on are becoming a new habit.
NECESSARY MATERIALS
Small Binder with clear sleeves for loose sheet music
MUSIC STAND for standing practice at home. You do not need to bring this stand to class.
Violinists and families - this week it is so important that you begin the habit of practice for this year. Please take out your violin 4 times for practice between 9/23-9/28 for just 10-15 minutes every time. I want you practicing practice! This will make practicing much easier later in the year and is a great life skill!

2. Worked on setting out violins high on our shoulders
3. Talked about key signatures and sharps
Started De Colores
Played Twinkle in a minor key
