Violinists and families - this week it is so important that you begin the habit of practice for this year. Please take out your violin 4 times for practice between 9/24-9/29 for just 5-15 minutes every time. I want you practicing practice! This will make practicing much easier later in the year and is a great life skill!
This week in violin we:
1. Practice our Violin Foot Position
2. Worked on setting out violins high on our shoulders
Played detective
Practice: STANDING with new foot position and violin set high on your shoulder
You can access the sheet music I handed out today HERE
5-15 minutes a day (this week might be more of a 5 minute week)
PLAY ONE OF YOUR OLD SONGS EVERYDAY
- standing with your new foot position
options could be: Silly Little Monkey, Twinkle, Simple Gifts, Williams Tell, whatever you want! The point is to not learn new notes or play your hardest music, but to work on your playing position and feet position
